December 19, 1912 — November 20, 2004

Lucille M. Zabrowski, age 91, formerly of Pine River, passed away and was reunited forever with her beloved husband, Ed, Saturday, November 20, 2004, at the Staples Care Center. Lucille Margaret Frank was born December 19, 1912 in St. Paul, to Nicholas and Margaret (Metz) Frank. She was united in marriage to Edward Zabrowski 66 years ago, on October 2, in St. Paul. She was a devoted wife and mother. Following retirement she and Ed moved to the Pine River/Backus area, where they made their home until failing health prompted them to move to Pillager to be near their daughter. Lucille was widowed in 2003, and lived with her daughter until recently.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Joan (Larry) Anderson, of Pillager; a sister, Elaine Panek, of Hastings; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her parents; her husband; son James Stoltz and stepson Keith Zabrowski, and sisters Blanche Schaub and Dorothy Wolf preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 26, 11 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, with Reverend Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.
