Lucille Patricia Thomas, 86, of Crosslake, MN died on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Golden Horizon Memory Care Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00PM at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake, MN with Father Blake Rozier officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, MN.

Lucille was born on November 10, 1931 in McIntosh, South Dakota to John Paul and Marcella Catherine (Mollman) Jones. She was united in marriage to Gary James Thomas on August 27, 1950 in Morristown, South Dakota. They lived in many states, but made their home in Minneapolis, MN. Following Gary’s retirement they moved to Crosslake, MN where they resided until their deaths. Lucille was a member of the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake, MN. She was very active in volunteer work, meals on wheels, crafting projects and was an outstanding archer. She enjoyed making bean pickles, quilting, crocheting, gardening, fishing and traveling. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucille is survived by her children, Robert Jones of Isanti, MN, Linda (Roger) Perreault of Rush City, MN, and Tim (Kathy) Thomas of Springfield, IL; sisters Dora Jones of Faulkton, SD and Phyllis (Donald) Pearson of Lemmon, SD; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Thomas, parents, brother Arthur Jones and first born grandchild Rusty Jones. Family would like memorials to go to Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
