Lucille Lembke

May 19, 1933 — March 30, 2012

Lucille "Chub" Lembke, 78, Baxter, died Friday 3/30/12 at St Cloud Hospital. Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday April 2, 2012 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. A reception will be held in Brenny's Reception Room following services. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.

Lucille "Chub" Lembke is survived by her husband, Marvin; daughter, Lori (LeRoy) Tulenchik of Pequot Lakes; daughters-in-law, Donna Lembke and Bev Lembke; brother, James Palmer; brother-in-law Jerry Zabel; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Randy and Thomas.

"Chub" was born on May 19, 1933 in Morrison County, the daughter Richard and Elizabeth (Schlumpberger) Palmer. She moved to New Ulm with her parents at an early age which is where she also graduated from high school. She moved to Washington D.C. where she was a secretary at the Pentagon. She was united in marriage to Marvin Lembke on June 27, 1952 in Arlington, VA. They lived in various locations but mostly in New Ulm and the Brainerd Lakes Area. She enjoyed cats, crafts, painting "wildlife", ceramics, making greeting cards and especially her family, children and all of her grandchildren. Memorials preferred to H.A.R.T.
