Lucille Bjorgo

Lucille Bjorgo, a lifelong resident of Minnesota, died January 4th, 2008, at her home in Lakeshore, MN surrounded by loved ones. She was 79. Lucille was born June 12, 1928, in Little Falls, MN, to George and Inez (Frerichs) Simons. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel, 7348 Excelsior Road, Baxter, MN. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Nisswa, MN. The family will receive friends at the Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday.

She grew up in the Little Falls and Grand Rapids, MN, areas in the company of grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. On July 14, 1957, she was united in marriage to Clifford Timothy Bjorgo. Lucille and Clifford were able to share almost 50 years together before he died on June 2, 2006. Lucille enjoyed being with her family, cake decorating, crocheting for family, bird watching, and the outdoors.

Lucille is survived by her loving children, David (Mary) Haertzen, Karen (John) Smith, Scott (Pamela) Bjorgo, and Theresa (Steven) Aarvig; her cherished grandchildren, Amber Bjorgo, Emily Lundberg, Crystal Bjorgo, Molly Haertzen, Zachary Aarvig and Erik Aarvig; as well as her great grandchildren, Tyler Beam, Katelyn Bjorgo, Stella Lundberg and Kaleb Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister; her loving husband Clifford Bjorgo; their beloved daughter Diane Bjorgo; and granddaughter Melissa Smith.
