Loyal Anderson

Loyal LarryAnderson, age 58, of Staples died Monday afternoon, October 8, 2007, at the Lakewood Health System Hospital. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 12:30 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roy Miles officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5  7pm at Brenny Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
Loyal Laverne Anderson, Jr. was born in Chicago, IL on November 21, 1948 to Loyal, Sr and Eliabeth (Fish) Anderson. He entered the Army from high school and moved to Staples after his mothers death to take care of his father. He was married to Diane Kasper on August 3, 1984 in Wadena. He drove taxi, and worked for North County Security for 13 years, and recently at the Oakridge Group Home. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, going to the casino and fishing.

Loyal is survived by his wife, Diane; sons, Raymond Anderson of Brainerd and Shawn Kort (Beth McRae) of Bay City, WI; sisters, Bonnie Edinger, Chicago, Il, Rena DeWald of Staples; grandchildren, Tesla Anderson, Mandy Anway, Stacy Anway, Alyssa Anway; great-grandchildren, Devon and Branson Anway.; and step mother Betty Lindbloom. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Mark and his parents.
