Louise Logering

Louise Janet Logering, 84, of Staples, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Lakewood Health Systems in Staples. She went to heaven to be with our Dad, the love of her life. Another angel is watching over us. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 3, at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 2 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples from 5-7 PM, with rosary at 6:30 PM followed by a prayer service, also one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, in Staples.

Louise was born April 25, 1929 in De Graff, Minnesota to Charley and Margaret Cronin. She was the youngest of 11 children. Louise married Don Logering on September 21, 1948 in a double wedding with her sister Mary Ann to Albert Jambor at Sacred Heart Church in Staples. To this union were born four children, Linda (Tom) Tappe, Peggy (Don) Sather, Arnie Logering and Deb (Greg) McGillivray.

Louise is survived by her children & her sister, Bernice Vogel of Staples; sister-in-laws, Leona Cronin of Brainerd and Mary Lou Cronin of Minnetonka; 11 grandchildren, Russ Sather, Heidi Sather, Melissa Tappe, Julie Tappe, Mike Tappe, Jenny Logering, Mike Logering, Donovan Logering, Chris McGillivray, Darci McGillivray and Travis McGillivray; 2 great grandchildren, Hillary Eblem and Ian Tappe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, her parents, siblings, grandson Luke, and granddaughter Lacey.
