Lorraine Smith

Lorraine Mary Smith, 94, died Saturday, April 22 at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 27 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Reverend David Holte officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Lorraine was born November 2, 1911 in Minneapolis. Lorraine married Vernon Smith September 8, 1931. She was a long time resident of Lake Minnetonka, MN and Tavares, FL. For the past 19 years she as lived at Woodland Good Samaritan Village. Lorraine enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cards, as well as watching golf. Lorraine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon. She is survived by her daughter, LaVerne (William) O'Hara, of Brainerd; her son, Lawrence (Brenda) Smith, of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
