Lorraine Bowman

Lorraine Bowman, 87, of Brainerd, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Baxter. Memorial Services will be at 3 PM, Monday, April 18, 2011 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. A luncheon will follow at the Brenny Reception Room.

Lorraine was born January 7, 1924, in St. Paul, MN. She was a graduate of Johnson High School in St. Paul. On January 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert Bowman. The couple made their home in St. Paul before they retired to North Long Lake in 1990. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, boating, and water activities. She liked the outdoors.

She will be missed by her husband, Robert; daughters, Bonnie (Frank) Haski, of Grand Marias and Debbie (Tom) Berg, of Kimball; son, Kurt Bowman, of Oakdale; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Will.
