Lorna Pesheck

Lorna J. Pesheck, age 68, of Brainerd, passed away on August 9, 2017, peacefully at her home. She was born in St. James, MN, to LaVerne and Delores Hanson on November 15, 1948. Lorna was preceded in death by her daughter, Shana Pesheck. She is survived by her son, Monte Hanson (49) and grandson, Hunter Hanson (16).

Lorna had many close friends that she loved so much and who loved her. She was often described as fun loving and independent, living life to the fullest and a great friend to have. Lorna worked at Potlatch for 26 years then went back to school at Central Lakes College and did a variety of things before retiring. She enjoyed time caring for her yard and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her friends, of which she had many. Lorna will be missed.

Lorna's memorial service will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 8th Ave. NE, in Brainerd, MN, on Tuesday, August 15. Visitation at 1 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM, followed by a prayer at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2.8 miles north of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Coffee, bars, cake and cookies will be served back at the church.
