Lois Moen

Lois Moen, age 88, of Elk River, MN. formerly of Zimmerman, Minnesota died Monday, January 8, 2001 at Fairview Hospital in Princeton, MN. Services will Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 11 AM at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Zimmerman with Pastor Mari Larson Officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Lois H. Moen was born October 16, 1912, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, daughter of Andrew and Selma (Glarum) Sherven. She was schooled in Devils Lake, North Dakota and Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Lois was united in marriage to Lawrence Moen in August of 1932. She lived in Zimmerman, Wheaton, Wendell and the Fergus Falls area. She worked for many years for Ericksen, Helleksen, Vye Lumber Company in Wheaton. She retired to Zimmerman.

Lois is survived by her son-in-law Warren Herold of Merrifield, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Steve (Jennie) Herold of Elk River, Minnesota, Jeff (Laure) Herold of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Dan (Lynette) Herold of Golden Valley, Minnesota, Nancy (Herold) Langlais (Ed) of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Paul (Chris) Herold of Brainerd; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Her daughters, Beverly Herold and Sandra Moen, husband Lawrence, parents, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
