Lois Edgeton

Lois I. Edgeton, 95, Pine River, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Assisted Living, Pine River.
Lois was born August 27, 1918 in Hazelton, IA to Mahlon and Elsie (Shepherd) Eastman. Lois married Leo Edgeton on October 10 1934. The couple were married for 64 years, prior to Leo's passing on February 16, 1999.

Lois is survived by, children, Lyle (Jan), Russell (Glenda), Bernard (Kathy), Kay (Lorrie), Richard (Carol) Edgeton; daughter-in-law, Beverly; 16 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren with two on the way; sister, Shirley Bucknell and two sisters-in-law, Mildred and Sharon Eastman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mahlon and Elsie Eastman; husband, Leo Edgeton; children, James Leo and Mary Jo; grandsons, Craig James and Todd Russell; sisters, Esther Doane and Lelah Barnes and brothers, Dale, Clinton, Homer, Roger, Herbert, Amos and Jimmy Eastman.

Memorials are preferred to the family so they may direct them to agencies such as Heartland Hospice and the Good Samaritan Society.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River, with a lunch to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
