Lois J. Eagle, 77, a lifelong resident of Crosslake, Minnesota died on October 14th, 2013 at Essentia/St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Services for Lois will be 1:00 pm, Saturday October 19th at Crosslake Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Internment at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, Minnesota.
Lois was born on April 6, 1936 in Crosslake, Minnesota to Clarence and Helen (Gould) Wheeler. Direct descendent of the founding family of Crosslake.
She was a lifelong resident of Crosslake. Lois was a graduate of Pequot Lakes High School and School of Cosmetology. She ran Lois' Beauty Shop out of her home until she retired. Lois married Raymond Eagle on April 23, 1960. She was active with the Lions Club and the Pequot Lakes American Legion. She enjoyed involvement with floats for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Lois loved the Crosslake area. She enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen Wheeler, sister Lorraine Kuhn, son John Eagle, and husband Raymond Eagle. She is survived by her brother, Harry Wheeler of Ham Lake; daughter and son in law, Helen and Dan Swanson; grandchildren, Maria Swanson of Brooklyn Center and Christopher Swanson of Lynchberg, VA.
Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, Minnesota.
