Linda Motl

Linda M. Motl, age 58, of Staples, passed away at the Lakewood Health System Hospital on Friday, March 9, 2012. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 12th, at 1:30 PM, at the Lakewood Care Center Chapel, in Staples. The viewing will be Monday morning from 10:00-12:00, at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery.

Linda Mari was born on July 22, 1953, in Alexandria, MN to Donavan and Betty (Johnson) Motl. Linda grew up on a farm near Browerville and graduated from Staples High School in 1971. Linda moved to St. Cloud after graduation and attended St. Cloud State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in psychology. Linda was working on completing her Masters when she went to work fulltime as a Medical Transcriptionist. Linda liked to read and play around on computers. She enjoyed cross-stitching as well.

Linda is survived by her son, Richard; her grandchildren, Xavier and Zaben; her mother, Betty; her sister, Susan (Andy) Maier; and her brother, Dennis (Shannon) Motl. She was preceded in death by her father.
