Linda Brekkestran

Linda Marie Brekkestran, age 70, passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2024, at her home in Pine River, Minnesota. Linda was born September 11th,1954, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Dorothea and Elra Larsen Sr. Linda was the youngest of seven children. She raised three children: Stacey Lind, Brandon Brekkestran and Nicole Brekkestran.

 Linda was a beloved sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a love for gardening, camping and being with her family, but nothing compared to the love she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda had a heart of gold. She loved her family get togethers and holidays so she could see family.

 Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leroy Larsen, Robert Larsen, and Alvin Bradow Senior; niece, Rhonda Sorg; and nephew, Alvin Bradow Jr.

 Linda is survived by her siblings, Sharon Richards, Wanda Sandberg (Dave), and Elra Larsen Jr. (Kim); children, Stacey Lind (Frankie), Brandon Brekkestran (Kyndal Whalen), and Nicole Brekkestran (Kody Skeesick); 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

 A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Pine River American Legion November 24th, 2024, from 12pm-3pm.
