Lillian Rae Eisenlohr was born on December 24, 1916, in Grant, MN, the daughter of Fredric and Elenore (Haefner) Gilmore. She was called from this life early Saturday morning at the St. Cloud Hospital. She had attained the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 11 days. Lillian attended school in Brainerd, MN. On January 5, 1936, she was united in marriage to Herbert C. Eisenlohr at St. John?s Lutheran Church, Motley. To this union 5 children were born. Lillian and Herbert shared 25 years of marriage together before Herbert died in 1961. Besides raising her family she worked as a cook at several restaurants in the area. She also did babysitting for many families and sold her wonderful homemade bread to local people. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 25 years and also taught Vacation Bible School. Among the things she enjoyed doing were baking, gardening, and helping people. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elenore; her husband, Herbert; a sister, Lida Andrus; brothers, Fay, John, Bernard, Benjamin, and Charles; and a grandson, Shane Helmerick. Lillian is mourned in passing by her children; John (Beverly) Eisenlohr of New York Mills, Ruth (Joseph) Zulkosky of Sauk Rapids, David (Shirley) Eisenlohr of St. Cloud, Mary (Arthur) Helmerick of Cottage Grove, and Carol (David) Jentz of Lidgerwood, ND; 11 grandchildren; 11 great, grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Mary Gilmore of Little Falls and Adeline Gilmore of Graham, Washington.
