Lila Weekley

Lila Rose Weekley, 80, of Staples, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at CentraCare Health in Long Prairie. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 11 AM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples, MN.

Lila was born on April 19, 1941, to August and Ethel (Allgver) Pietz in Brainerd, MN. She was united in Marriage to Harold Lee Weekley on September 17, 1960, in Elbow Lake, MN. Lila was a homemaker and stayed home raising their seven children. She enjoyed flower gardening, Elvis music, beanie-babies, and spending time with her family especially around the holidays. Lila will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Denise (Gary) Rud, Dori (Brian Johnson) Weekley, Stewart (Michelle) Weekley, Deb (Chad) Connell, Brian (Dorothy) Weekley, Howard Weekley, and Raymond Weekley; and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Weekley, and her parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
