Lewis England, age 83, passed away at his Merrifield home on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

Lewis Christopher England, Jr. was born on June 18, 1934 in Odsesyomie, Kansas to Lewis Christopher England, Sr. And Glenna Autherine Bussert England. Lew was the oldest of his 5 siblings, whom he loved very much: Peggy, Jerry (TJ), Betty (Steve), Dorthy (Larry), and Danny (Micky). Lew was proud of many things in his life. He served his country in the Korean War. But nothing compared to the pride of starting his own family and having his kids: Annette Marie Mykkanen (Sonny), Orivell Lee Helton, Billy Joe England, Sr. (Sandy), and Michael James England.

Lew made a dream come true when he bought a cabin on Lower Mission Lake, a true fisherman’s dream. A dream that a proud grandpa shared with his grandsons: Christopher James Mykkanen (Jodi), Marc Talbot Mykkanen (Donna), Paul Lewis Helton, Timothy Richard Helton, Shawn Christopher England, William Joe England, Jr., and John Lewis England (Kim). Grandpa always had a camera in his hands when the great-grandkids came along. He loved taking pictures of Desirae Rose Mykkanen, Olivia Marie Mykkanen, Nikkita Jean Newton, and Chandra Ann Helton. But the apples of his eye were when Daenarys Rose England and Lewis Arnold England came along. Now, he is complete.
