Levi Schuld

July 30, 2010 — May 7, 2018

Levi Robert Schuld passed away at his home on May 7, 2018, surrounded by his family. He fought a brave battle against Wilms tumor for the past three years.

During his brief seven years on earth, Levi touched the lives of many. He attended Montessori School of Brainerd, and cherished spending time with his friends. Levi had a wicked sense of humor, and at times, seemed more like an adult. He was very sensitive and caring toward others. He had a great love for animals. He enjoyed biking, fishing, collecting Pokemon and Hotwheels. Levi loved old cars and trucks, and could identify an incredible number of them. He also loved NASCAR and was able to meet some of his favorite drivers at the Daytona 500 this year, because of Make-A-Wish. He enjoyed exploring the beaches of Boca Grande, FL, and hunting for shells. He loved his swingset, and walking his dog. He admired his big sister, and valued his family. He just loved life in its simplest form. He taught those who loved him many important lessons about life. He will be cherished forever and his brief time with us was a great gift.

Levi was cared for by an incredible team of doctors and nurses at Children’s Minneapolis and Centracare of St. Cloud. He participated in clinical trials, and contributed to important research which will help other children in the future.

Levi is survived by his parents, Robert and Christine; big sister, Maddie of Pillager; grandparents, Mary Schuld of Wisconsin and George Schuld of Kansas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He is also sadly missed by his dog, Henry, and cat, Lilly.

Levi was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Barbara Bollig.

The Celebration of Levi’s Life will take place Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter. Pastor Erika Nilsen will officiate. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services.
