Leonard "Len" White

Leonard “Len” A. White, age 90, of Nisswa passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 6, 2020.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.  Due to the pandemic, no memorial service or celebration of life is currently planned.  The family will notify loved ones and friends in the future when a service is scheduled.

Len was born in 1930 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Len was married to his loving wife Marlyce for 67 years; the couple had six children.  He worked for many years as a commercial salesman. After his retirement, Len enjoyed building his lake home with much help from his children.    His greatest memories include the many years of family camping with close friends.  He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including golfing, fishing, boating, and welcoming his children and grandchildren for visits up at the lake.  He was a wonderful husband, fantastic father, and had a twinkle in his eye that charmed everyone that got to know him.  Len was gentle, kind, compassionate, sensitive and will be dearly missed by all.

Len is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marlyce, and six children all living in the Twin Cities area: Richard (Susie) White, Douglas (Bridget) White, Randy (Danette) White, Jody (John) Rahja, Jenny (Don) Harms, Colleen (Lyle) Crowley; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  The family is grateful for the kindness and caregiving given to their dad during a difficult time.
