Leonard Sowada

Leonard E Sowada, 65 years old of Randall Minnesota passed away March 10th, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Leonard suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday and passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Services will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday March 22nd, 2025 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with Father Sauer officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 . Lunch will follow. Private burial at a later date.

Leonard was born to Elmer and Beatrice Sowada on February 1st, 1960. He grew up and attended school in Royalton, Minnesota. Leonard was blessed with his son Robert in August of 1992. Leonard purchased property in Randall where he resided.

Leonard enjoyed driving truck over the road for many years. During that time he met Hilda, the love of his life (his rescued miniature schnauzer). After her passing he was able to find love again with Bonnie (his four pound miniature schnauzer).

Leonard had a talent for the arts, including bird carving and painting. Leonard was blessed with not only one but two green thumbs and could grow anything. He had a love for animals big and small. He loved to ride his motorcycle. Leonard enjoyed life and love to spend time with family and friends. Leonard was know as the collector of treasures.

Left to cherish his memory; his children Robert Sowada, Ashley (Kirby) Arens, Lacey Brezinka; granddaughters; Destiny and Zella Arens; mother Beatrice Sowada Block; siblings Joyce (Kirby) Fluhary, Jean (Kenny) Popp and Leslie (Kathi) Sowada.

He was preceded in death by; his father Elmer Sowada and stepfather Werner Block.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Randall.
