Lee Arden Boelter, age 62, died suddenly on Monday, January 17, 2005 at his home in Pequot Lakes, MN. Lee was born on April 4, 1942 in Oshkosh, WI, son of Arden and Lois (Wrasse) Boelter. He attended Oshkosh High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1964, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he was employed by Control Data in the Twin Cities as a Programmer Analyst. After working for 28 years with Control Data he was employed by Health Resource Management in Bloomington, MN, before retiring in 2001. On August 7, 1976, he married Joanne Wirth of Elm Grove, WI. They moved to Minnesota and were residents of Shoreview before moving to East Twin Lake in July of 2004. He gave generously and cheerfully of his time to aid family and friends on building projects. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, fishing, beach combing, bird watching and wild life.
Lee leaves to mourn, wife Joanne; mother Lois Boelter, Oshkosh, WI; mother-in-law Elvira Wirth, New Berlin, WI; sister Elizabeth (James) Hoffman, Oshkosh, WI; as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Arden, uncle Neil Wrasse, father-in-law William Wirth, and brother-in-law Gary Wirth.
Services will be January 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to; ETLA Fish Stocking Fund, Heartland Animal Rescue Team, Oshkosh Area Humane Society, and Deep Portage Conservation Reserve.
