Lecia Simon

Lecia Irene Simon, 57, of Randall, died Sunday, June 22 at Little Falls Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, June 30, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Randall City Cemetery.

Lecia was born May 12, 1957 in Brainerd, MN. Her parents, Richard Anderson and Berdetta Johnston, raised Lecia and their family in the Big Lake Area where she graduated from high school. She married Samuel Simon in February of 1982. Lecia was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors - especially fishing and watching birds. She could often be found playing Bingo or helping her daughter Jessica put together puzzles.

She will be missed by her husband, Samuel; her children, Dale Simon, of Clear Lake and Jessica Simon, of Randall; her mother, Berdetta, of Denver; her siblings, Deb (Fred) Samuelson, of St. Cloud, Allen Ahlgrim, of Denver, Glenda Willprecht, of Denver, and Vicki Anderson, of Denver; sister-in-law, Teresa Cabrera; and her special uncles, Ira Johnston of Denver and Elwood Johnston, of Staples.
