Leanne Hines

Leanne Amy Hines, 57, of Brainerd, MN, died at her home on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Services for Leanne will be held on Wednesday, September 20, at 11 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 19, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Leanne was born in Brainerd, MN on February 24, 1960 to Maurice and Verna (Pickar) Dixon. She was raised in Brainerd and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1978. Leanne attended a year of schooling at the Brainerd Community College. She was united in marriage to Roy Hines on June 27, 1982 in Brainerd, MN. She enjoyed crafting, camping, and spending time out on the water. Leanne liked reading novels and loved the holidays, especially Christmas. Her greatest joy of all though was her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Leanne will be sadly missed by her husband, Roy of Brainerd, MN; children, Amanda (Randi Spilde) Hines of Sartell, MN, Jessica (Steve) Mudgett of Pillager, MN, and Dustin (Anna) Hines of Nisswa, MN, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Verna; and siblings, Daren, Denise, and Angela. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
