Leah Clementson

Leah A. Clementson, 68, of Brainerd, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at Ebenezer Luther Hall in Minneapolis, MN. Leah was born July 19, 1935 to Orrin L. and Cecil O. (Webster) Hunn in Guthrie, MN. She attended Bemidji High School where she was head majorette for the marching band. She graduated in 1953. She married Paul Clementson March 31, 1955 in Baltimore, MD. They lived in St. Louis, MO, before moving to Brainerd in 1968. Leah was a homemaker, but also had various employment in the Brainerd Lakes Area, most recently at Walgreens.
Leah was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Eagles. She enjoyed sewing, needle work, and cooking with her grandchildren.

Leah is survived by her daughters, Arlene (Brad) Forrest, of Edina, Kirsten (Paul) Hofmann, of Brainerd; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Whitney, and Dylan Forrest, Joshua, Patrick, and Thomas Hofmann; and her sister, Vera Weis, of Bemidji. Her husband, parents, and sister, Clarice Whitman preceded her in death.

Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel from 4-6 PM, Sunday, March 21.
