Lawrence B. Seidel left this world on December 20, 2011 and the heaven's gained a son. A Celebration of his life will be held at his home at Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Lawrence, also known as Fritz, was born on October 5, 1947 in Crosby, Minnesota to Robert and Jeanne (Johnson) Seidel. He was raised in Outing, Minnesota. Lawrence attended school in Remer graduating in 1967. After high school, Fritz enlisted in the Navy, served two tours in Vietnam with the department of Inshore underwater warfare, returned to the States where he worked and retired with the State of Minnesota and the State of California.
After his retirement, he took pride in devoting his life to Patriot Guard missions, his family and loved throwing ball for his yellow lab, Willow. He was a brother, father, Vietnam Vet, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Patriot Guard and a best friend. Dad was very proud to be an American and he will be sadly missed by all. You are our hero!
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Seidel; two brothers, Robert (Judy) Seidel and James (Ann) Seidel; one sister, Lynn (Ron) Rogers; three daughters, Mary (Troy) Hanson, Michelle (Shane) Danielson, and Melanie (Scott) Morrissey; eight grandchildren, Bret Mutz, Brandon Mutz, Bryton Mutz, Jace Kuehn, Gabrielle Peterson, Aselin Morrissey and Brooklyn Morrissey; a grandchild on the way, one great-grandchild, Jack Mutz; two nephews, Jeff (Bethany) Seidel and Tim (Kim) Seidel; one niece, Ann Edwards; and several great nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Willow. Fritz was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Ceceila Johnson and Walter and Francis Seidel; brother, Terrance Seidel; father, Robert Seidel and one grandson, Bryant Mutz.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
