Lawrence Allen

Lawrence LarryA. Allen, 70, of Baxter, MN, died at his home Tuesday, June 17, 2008. A Memorial Service for Larry is scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter. Friends are welcome to gather one our prior to services.
Larry was born July 26, 1937 in Grand Rapids, MN, the son of Lyman and Beulah (Wilson) Allen. After graduating from Grand High School, Larry joined the Minnesota National Guard and moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. While living in the metro area, he worked for several car and truck dealerships as a sales manager. Larry moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, tennis and coin collecting.

He will be missed by his wife, Wendy; his step-children, Bob (Tammy) Palmer, of Lindstrom, Troy (Rebecca) Palmer, of Pequot Lakes, and Patricia OReilly, of Brainerd; and ten grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
