LaVonne Tylewski

LaVonne Tylweski, age 76, formerly of Baxter, MN passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at Aitkin Health Service in Aitkin, MN. Graveside services for LaVonne will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1:00PM at Baxter City Cemetery with Deacon Brown officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5:00-8:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.

LaVonne Lillian Tylewski was born March 25, 1940 in Sandstone to William and Phyllis (Creighton) Dack and was the eldest of 13 children. She was united in marriage to Dale Tylewski on July 18, 1970. Dale passed away in 2006. She lived in Brainerd/Baxter area on and off since 1976, even thou she lived in many other places, she and Dale always came back to their favorite place to live. LaVonne kept her self busy with part time jobs, having a nice flower garden and as a member of Befrienders and St. Helena's Guild at St. Francis Catholic Church. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends in person or on the phone and finding out the latest news. She also enjoyed her soap opera, The Young and the Restless since it aired in 1973 but her biggest joy in life was her grandsons and grandchildren.

LaVonne is survived by her daughter, Terre Niesen, of Oregon; two grandsons, Brandon Niesen of Baxter, and Ryan Niesen of Oregon; six grandchildren, Eagan, Dylen, Preston, Joslyn, Gwendolyn, and Journee; siblings, LeRoy (Darlene) Dack of Bloomington, Winnifred (Victor) Berthold of Backus, Willis (Sharon) Dack of St. Louis Park, Lloyd (Judy) Dack of Arlington, TX, Thomas (Jane) of St. Paul, Gary Dack of Mound, DuWane (Jeanette) Dack of Burnsville, Mavis Strevlov of Wyoming, Donna (Rick) Miller of Rush City, and Darrell Dack of Mora. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents, William and Phyllis; and two brothers, Gene and Myron Dack. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
