LaVonne Paulson

LaVonne June Fuglie, Paulson, age 76, passed away on April 8, 2013 at 12:20 am while at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota after a two month battle with an unidentified illness. Services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church in Ham Lake, MN with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery following the service.

Born in Forest Lake Minnesota on Oct 29th 1936, she graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1954. She married Richard Paulson on July 2nd 1954 and they raised four children together. She worked for Anoka Hennepin School District in the food industry for 20 years and really enjoyed her job and interacting with the kids.

She loved fishing, her birds, and flowers. She loved to cook and you could always find her in the kitchen. Her cookie jar was always full. She was especially fond of traveling. Early on, as a navy wife, she started her travels by flying to the west coast, driving home to MN, then to New York to board a Navy ship to Puerto Rico, then flying back home, and again to the east coast, and finally home again after 4 years. After that, traveling was just another adventure.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Paulson. She had 4 children; Keith and Roxanne Paulson of Edgewood New Mexico, Julie Paulson of Bemidji, MN. Brian and Wendy Paulson of Coon Rapids MN. Nancy and Carl Langner of Alexandria, MN. She has 4 brothers and sisters; Gary and Yvonne Fuglie of Forest Lake , MN. Kay and Bob Olson of Vero Beach Florida. Grace and Rudy Salie of Backus, MN. Adele and Dave Erbeck of Arlington WA. She has 9 grandchildren Erik and Freyja Paulson; Jesse Orttel and Shane Gilliland; Erika and Zach Paulson; Nate, Katelyn and Nick Langner. She has two great grandchildren; Josie Paulson and Matilda Oien (Gilliland)

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father June and Edwin Fuglie and her brother Dwight Fuglie.
