Laura Damm

Laura Damm, 50, of Crosslake died at her home on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Services for Laura will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church-The Log Church in Crosslake, MN at 11:00AM with Pastor Fred Cressman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake from 5:00-7:00PM and one and half hours before services at the church on Friday.

Laura was born July 7, 1962, in Minneapolis, MN. Following high school, Laura worked as a server at various restaurants and was recognized as one of the areas best by local eating establishments. She most recently worked at Golden Horizons Assisted Living where she was a talented caregiver and certified CNA. Laura was a gifted writer and enjoyed poetry. She was fascinated by Native American Culture and liked horseback riding. She liked spending time on Mexican Beaches and the North Shore.

She will be missed by her husband, Kevin; her children, Jonah Lazerine, of Ideal Corners, Anna Damm, of Merrifield, and Alex Damm, of Merrifield; her parents, Patrick and Marge (Krieg) Quinlan, of Garrison; and her sisters, Lisa (Steven) Siefert, of Longville and Paula (Mike) Berendt, of Fifty Lakes.
