Larry Lynn Hall of Brainerd,MN was born March 16,1953 in Ft Bennington Ga army Hospital, passed away ‘surrounded by his family at Essentia Health – St. Joseph Hospital Brainerd, MN on May 17, 2019. Memorial service for Larry will be 1:30PM, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at The Journey North Church in Baxter, MN.
Larry was a musician for many years traveling the USA as The Black Water Band providing music to night clubs. He was also employed at The State Hospital Brainerd, MN and Walmart Baxter, MN for many years. Larry had inventor and an entrepreneur spirit and invented many things. Larry had a great love for fishing and Invented a Bait Tank that was State of the art Bait Tank known as Speedy Bait. He also loved gardening but didn't like the fact that he had to go water and weed the garden so he invented a system that you could “plant it and forget it” known as RAIN GUTTER GROW SYSTEM, and has a closed group page on Facebook known as Rain Gutter Grow System group page with nearly 40,000 group members. Larry Loved each and every member as though they were his family and tried to freely help out whenever he could with any problem they might encounter; also he is on YouTube with over 100,000 subscribers. Larry you were loved will be missed by the thousands of gardeners you mentored and help along the way .Your family and friends love you, miss you and are heartbroken at your early passing.
Larry was married to his best friend of 35 years Eyvonne (Warner) Hall of Brainerd,MN; son, Shawn (Suzanne) Bowman, Jamestown N,Dak; daughters, Dawn (Reno) Powell Nisswa MN, Jodie (Tim) Olson Alamo N.Dak, and Kari (Vaughn) Gentry Merrifield,MN. Larry was very proud of his 13 Grandchildren, Jeramie Torgerson,Kaylyn Collett,Mark Torgerson,Michelle Collett all of Brainerd,MN; Emma Bydal of Alamo N.Dak.; Luke Bowman, Ethan Bowman,Joel Bowman, Levi Bowman and Faith Bowman all of Jamestown N.Dak.; Taten Gentry, Adison Gentry, Sydnie Gentry all of Merrifield,MN; also a sister, Kitty (Wayne) Brown of Greenfield, Indiana; brother, Keith Kelly of Morristown, Indiana and 5 Great-Grandchildren, Jameson, Lizzie, Hawley, Declan and Paisly and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Hall, His Mother, June Anderson Kelly; a Brother, Steven Hall, and many other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
