Larry Doucette

Larry Conrad Doucette, 69, of Staples, passed away on Wednesday, June 09, 2021 with his family by his side. Funeral services will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, Minnesota. Visitation will take place from 4-7 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021 Interment will be at Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Larry was born on May 20, 1952 to Larry and Evelyn (Arndt) Doucette in Rolla, ND. After graduation Larry served in the United States Marines, and then in the Army Reserves. Serving one tour in Vietnam and one tour in Afghanistan. He was married to Linda Greenwaldt in Staples, Mn on January 12, 1975, and together they had four children. Larry worked as an Auto Mechanic for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by Linda, his wife of 46 years; children Larry III (Ann) Doucette, Anna (Keith) Spychalla, Mary (Ross) Rychner, and Bradley (Lisa) Doucette; siblings Virginia (Douglas) Suarino, Cynthia (Jon) Zahn, Cheryl (Dennis) Erickson, William (Khace) Doucette, and Jan (Todd) Katter; grandchildren Geralin Doucette, Marshall and Peyton Spychalla, Mason, Haiden, and Leiten Rychner, and Sophia Doucette; and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Evelyn Doucette; his brother Gary; grandson Keigan Rychner; and 1 aunt and 2 uncles.
