Lana Schnichels

Lana (Wickham) Schnichels, age 41 of Pillager, died Thursday, April 6, 2005 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Funeral services will be Tuesday, from 3 ? 7 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Lana Marie Wickham was born on September 28, 1963 in Brainerd to Marvin & Mary (Norwood) Wickham and was the youngest of 5 children. The family moved to the cities where Lana met and married Stephen Schnichels on March 14, 1986. Following their marriage they moved to Ramsey County where they both worked as taxi cab drivers in St. Paul. They moved to rural Pillager where she was a homemaker till the time of her death. She cared for many children throughout her life, and touched the lives of many people. She enjoyed racing cars, gardening and music. Lana helped influence people to pursue their dreams. Lana is survived by her husband, Stephen; daughters, Randi Wickham, Pillager, Ronnie (Delaney Fletcher) Schnichels, Pillager; son Brian Oanes, White Bear Lake: grandchildren, Stevie and Gregory; step-father, Jerry Austin, Brainerd; brothers, Gary Wickham, Wesley Wickham; sister Brenda Shaw. Her mother Mary Austin and brother Loren Wickham preceded her in death. Arrangements entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
