Kirby L. Dwire was born in 1948 to Wyman (Jack) and Donna (Hasbrouck) Dwire. He died September 16, 2021. He grew up in the area and graduated from Backus Public Schools. Kirby married Cheryl Wolmutt in 1970. They were blessed with 4 children.
Kirby was preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers, and 1 son. He is survived by his wife, children, 6 sisters, many nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
People loved Kirby's personality. He had his own vocabulary. For example, when ordering eggs and bacon, he would say," Give me 2 stillborn chickens, hold the rooster juice, and some dead pig" or "I need a brain scratcher". What? "A bobbi pin for my ears". We loved his sense of humor and will miss him dearly.
Kirby was baptized in 2006 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved the Bible and the hope it holds out for the future for the earth and faithful mankind. He awaits for Jesus, the King of God's Kingdom to resurrect him on the last day. He said he has an underground ticket to God's Kingdom.
An Open House will be held September 25th at Kirby Dwire's residence from 2:00-4:00 pm in honor of his life with us.
