Visitation for Kevin will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4:00-7:00PM at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN and an hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
Kevin John Deick was born on September 20th, 1981 in Little Falls, MN to John (Jack) and Diane (Thielen) Deick.Kevin passed away on April 28, 2018 peacefully at his home in Cushing, MN.He grew up on on the family farm near Randall and attended Little Falls Community High School graduating in the year 2000. He attended Central Lakes College, Brainerd, MN with a Welding and Fabrication Degree and attended Central Lakes College, Staples, MN with a Machine Tool Technologies Degree. Kevin was a member of Pheasants Forever, Deer Hunters Association, and Big Lake Sportsmen Club. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his two beautiful little girls, hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening and working outside with nature. Kevin had a heart of gold in helping people in need whenever he could, like donating to many different organizations like the Veterans Association and local VFW’s. With his many, many talents he created new things, and works of art with wood. Kevin owned his own business with his sister Laurie, D&D Custom Laser Designs. Kevin’s passion was his two beautiful little girls, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods with nature, where he could relax with God’s peacefulness. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Randall, MN.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Brookelynn and Brylee of Cushing, their mother Tania (Plafcan) Deick, Parents Jack and Diane Deick of Cushing, Sisters Lynette (Keith) Miller, Randall, Laurie (Jim) Daudt, Randall, and Cheryl (Tom) Alvarez, Woodbury. Nieces and Nephews, Kate, Luke, and Emma Miller, Tommy, David, Justin, and Julia Alvarez.
Grandmother Dorothy (Leo) Thielen of the Harmony House in Pierz. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Ella Deick and Leo Thielen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
