Kenneth Truesdell

Kenneth Truesdell died on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lakewood Health Care Center Staples, MN. Kenneth’s service will be held at Brenny Funeral Home Staples, MN on Thursday, February 27th at 11:30 AM, with visitation one hour before service. Burial will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples, MN at a later date.

Kenneth was born to Owen and Bertha Truesdell on March 17, 1940 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Kenneth graduated from Staples High School and Staples Vocation School.  He worked in Minneapolis as a machinist until his retirement. Kenneth married Joan Tepley on December 6, 1958 and they had three sons.  After his retirement he moved to Staples to their vacation home on Fawn Lake. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Kenneth is survived by his two sons: David and Michael Truesdell; one brother: Jack Truesdell; one sister: Dorothy (Archie) Hosner; a sister-in-law: Waneta Truesdell.  Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Owen and Bertha Truesdell; his wife: Joan Truesdell; a son: Gary Truesdell; brothers: William Truesdell, Emmett Truesdell; a sister: Beth Sellnow and a sister-in-law: Gloria Truesdell. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel of Staples, MN.  www.brenny.com
