Kenneth Peterson

Kenneth Jon Peterson was born on September 18, 1936, in Eveleth, Minnesota.  The son of Philip and Ruth Peterson.  Ken passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 87.  

Ken attended Two Harbors, MN public school through 7^th grade, then Cotton, MN High School until graduating in 1954.   After high school Ken attended Coyne Electrical College in Chicago, IL where he learned his life profession as an electrician.  He eventually became a Master A electrician.

On October 5, 1957, Ken married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Carolyn Randall.  They were married for 53 years.  

Ken will be dearly missed by his children Randy (Dyanna) Peterson of Brook Park, MN, Denise (Art) Ellis of Battle Lake, MN, Bryan (Lezlie) Peterson of Chatfield, MN, Dale (Tracy) Peterson of Braham, MN, special friend Harriet Kempffer of Duluth, MN, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.   Ken is survived by his sister Nancy (Charlie) Thies of Minneapolis, MN, along with many nieces and nephews, all holding a special place in his heart.

Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn, his parents Philip and Ruth Peterson and his granddaughter Abra Ellis.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
