Kenneth Eggers

Kenneth William Eggers, 88, of Pillager MN, died Wednesday July 3, 2019 at his home. A memorial service for Kenneth will take place at 2:00PM Monday July 22, 2019 at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.

Kenneth was raised and educated in Milwaukee, WI. He then went on to serve in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. After his service, he lived in California, and was employed as a manager with Litton manufacturing. He moved to Duluth and continued his career, then meeting his wife Laura. The couple married on April 5th, 1968 in Cloquet, MN. Kenneth and Laura shared a loving relationship for over 46 years. After many moves, they returned to Gull Lake. Kenneth loved his lake house, garage sales, and his old cars. He loved his Packers, and loved his resident friends at Riverside. Kenneth loved his Lord. He loved his country and was proud of his service.

Kenneth is survived by his step daughters, Karel House of Baxter MN, Kathleen (Grant) Klosner of Bradenton, FL; sisters Sharon (Richard) Rossebo of Wild Rose, WI, Donna (Eck) Rahn of Colgate, WI; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 nieces and several nephews.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; sister Ruth Styron; his loving wife Laura, who passed on May 7, 2014; step son Joseph William Franklin; and step son in law Denny House.
