Kenneth Bartel

Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Bartel, 65, of Brainerd, MN died on Monday, December 21, 2015 in Hackensack, MN. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church near Monticello, MN. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services.

Kenny was born on August 16, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN son of the late Robert and and Gloria (Personius) Kelly. He was later adopted by Lewis Bartel. He moved to Limestone Lake near Monticello with his parents at an early age. Kenny worked various jobs and loved watching movies. He retired due to medical challenges and moved to Brainerd, MN to live with his children until the time of his death.

Kenny is survived by his children, Brian, Kristina Bauer-Jeske, David (Nicole) Bartel, Robb Bartel, Michael (Jessica) Bartel, and Kelly Bartel; sisters, LuAnn (Dave) Bock and Karla Kimble; seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kevin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
