Keith Pohl

Keith Pohl, 49, of Brainerd, died at his home on Sunday, January 15, 2012 surrounded by his wife and children. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

Keith was born September 11, 1962, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Richard and Sharon (Stengel) Pohl. After graduating high school, Keith continued his education and received a BS Degree in Agronomy, graduating with high honors. For more than 18 years, he managed Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation. In 1991, he was married to Patricia Castelli in Pequot Lakes.

Keith loved hockey, deer hunting with his dad, gardening and traveling. He was a Vikings fan. The highlight of his life was standing on the ice at the Minnesota Wild Movember event in 2010.

He will be missed by his wife and soulmate, Pat; parents, Richard and Sharon Pohl, of Pequot Lakes; step-daughter, Tracy (Dave) Petry, of Aitkin; step-son, Bryant Dobbs and Brian Grow, of Scottsdale, AZ; and brother, Kyle (Suzi) Pohl, of Brainerd.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Hallie Pohl.
