Keith Dahlen

After a courageous 6 weeks of battling complications of heart surgery Keith Ronald Dahlen passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis surrounded by his family. Private family services will be held now with a Celebration of Keith’s life being held in the summer.

Keith was born to Ellen Irene (Ottelin) and Gordon Sigard Dahlen on April 06, 1944 at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He was married to the love of his life Iris Zeidler on October 01, 1966 in Columbia Heights, MN and together they enjoyed raising their two children and being actively engaged in the lives of their three grandsons. He worked at Frana Companies as a field operations superintendent for 30 years. Keith truly loved his job and was well liked by his employees, and a mentor to many. He was an active member of the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. His cheerful personality and compassion for others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by Iris, his wife of 54 years; daughter Kara (Tony) Maucieri and son Brett (Rhonda) Dahlen; grandchildren Jordan, Joshua, and Easton; siblings Kurt (Marilyn) Dahlen, Sandra (Gary) Borncamp, and Kent (Jan) Dahlen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Cindy Dahlen.

Memorials can be made to the Brainerd Habitat for Humanity or Lakes Area Food Shelf.
