Kathleen Krueger

Kathleen "Kathy" Krueger, 51, of Staples, MN died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her home. A Memorial Service for Kathy will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Staples Alliance Church, with Pastor Bob Hepokoski officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services for visitation.

Kathy was born July 19, 1964 in Browerville, MN to Blayne and Helen (Swenson) Miller. She graduated from Staples High School in 1982. Kathy married Wayne Anderson and they worked at a horse farm in Chanhassen, MN for a few years and later moved back to Staples. They later divorced. Kathy married Greg Krueger in 1998 in Little Falls, MN and they continued to live in Staples, where Kathy worked at Precision Polishing. Jacob was born in 1999 and she stayed home with him for a few years, before returning to work in maintenance and landscaping, Little Moran Hunting Club, and Gert and Herb Domeno for many years. She loved all animals; especially horses, being outdoors, snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, and playing pool on pool leagues. Kathy was very active in AA, and was a sponsor for others. She truly loved helping others, whether it was people or animals. Kathy was a part of the congregation at Staples Alliance Church. Jacob was the biggest joy of her life. They took many trips together to various states, and had many good times together.

Kathy is survived by her son, Jacob of Staples, MN; siblings, Rick (Becky) Miller of Rockford, MN, Melaine (Kevin) Swecker of Sauk Rapids, MN, Tim (Lori) Miller of Staples, MN, Jon (Deb) Miller of Staples, MN, Mike (Erica) Miller of Mound, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blayne and Helen Miller. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
