Kathleen Armstrong

Kathleen Marie Armstrong, age 81, of Pine River, formerly Royalton and St. Cloud, passed from this world to the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, July 18, 2011, at her home surrounded by her children after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Jacob and Katherine Grasl in Werner, ND, on July 28, 1929. She was retired from the St. Cloud Post Office where she worked for many years. Her life was exemplified by her uncompromising faith in God through her Savior Jesus Christ and her devotion to her church and family.

Kathleen is survived by her sister, Geneva Schnell of Dickinson, ND; her children: Patricia Stotz, William Armstrong (Cheri), David Armstrong, Joanne Radniecki (Stan), Lori Hemminger; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Marguerite Simon.

Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 21, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River, with Father Bruce Engen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
