Kathleen Anderson

Kathleen Ann (Crone) Anderson, age 81, of Pine River, passed away April 26, 2019, at Essentia Hospital in Brainerd. She was surrounded by family at the time which was her wish. Kathy was born April 25, 1938, in Brighton, Iowa, to Douglas and Jessie Crone. While attending Beauty School in Burlington, Iowa, she met her husband of 61 years, Dean. Kathy and Dean made their home in Bloomington, MN, where they raised their son, Mike. In 1986 they moved to Pequot Lakes where they ran the former Peoria Store for a few years prior to retiring in Pine River. Kathy loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on proudly from the sidelines. Family was everything to Kathy and she will be deeply missed.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Dean; son, Mike (Kim) of Pine River; grandchildren, Cory (Chelsey) of Elbow Lake and Jamie of Brainerd; great grandchildren: Camden, Colton, Cayden, Callen, Jovi, Jackson, Jayce and Cashten; brothers: Ken, Doug and Allen Crone; sister, Karma Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Keith and Jerry Crone; and sister, Karen Kleese.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, May 11, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
