Katheryn Felthous

Katheryn "Tanny" Felthous, age 88, of Backus, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Heritage House in Pequot Lakes. She was born April 25, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, IA, to Robert and Katheryn Greene. Tanny married Alan Felthous on November 27, 1943 in Cedar Rapids. Tanny was a member of PEO and enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines and the Pine River United Methodist Church choir.

Tanny is survived by her daughter, Judy Hobert (Bob) of Penn Valley, CA; sons: Tom Felthous of Fort Worth, Texas, David Felthous (Cindy) of Backus; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan, and sister, Joann.

Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, August 31, at Grace United Methodist Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
