Katherine Francour

Katherine Marie Francour, age 95, of Brainerd, MN, formerly of Hoyt Lakes, MN, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Brainerd. She was born on May 1, 1929, to John and Florence (Tepp) Ennis in Superior, WI.

Katherine was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was also a talented and published author, with a passion for reading and cooking. Her thoughtful and nurturing spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Katherine is survived by her children: Barbara Scanlon, Tony (Kaye) Francour, Burt (Sharon) Francour, Lauri (Ron) Radle, Joseph (Peggy) Francour, and Randy (Martha) Francour; 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard; one brother; two sisters; her son-in-law; and a granddaughter.

A private family service will be held to honor Katherine's memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel.
