Karie Barron

Karie Leanna Barron, 62, of Brainerd, passed away on November 12, 2022. Services will be held 11am at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Baxter City Cemetery.

Karie was born on December 31, 1959, in Brainerd, Minnesota to Kenneth Grunewald and Donna Malloy. She was artistic. She enjoyed drawing, crafting, cross stitching, card making and stamping. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Karie is survived by her brother Glen (Bonnie) Grunewald of Dundee; sister, Kristy Farber of Baxter; and her special friend Michael Fitch of Brainerd. She is preceded in death by her father; Kenneth Grunewald; mother, Donna Monk; brother, Donald Grunewald; grandparents, Alfred and Marie Malloy, Ernest and Ethel Grunewald; many cousins; one nephew; and one niece.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
