Karen Nygard

Karen Nygard, 64, of Baxter, died Thursday, October 16, at her home. She is survived by her mother, Louise Nygard, of Brainerd; sister, Janet (Howard) Gould of Lino Lakes; brother, Glen (Carolyn) Nygard, of Baxter; Aunt Doris Lombardo, and cousin Linda Goodrich and family of Ormond Beach, FL; Aunts Karen Jacobs and Annie Nygard, of Ratvik, Sweden, and Elin Erickson, of Orsa, Sweden; Uncles Nils (Virginia) Nygard, of Fridley, and Hans Nygard, of Ratvik Sweden; 4 nieces, 3 nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-great niece; and several cousins in Sweden.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 19, 4 PM, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Reverend Dwight Anderson officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, October 20, at 3 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
