Karen Bedell

Karen Bedell, 59, of Baxter, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025 at home with her husband Jim, son Zach and friend Shelly at her side. A gathering with family and friends will be held from 1pm – 2pm on Monday, January 13th at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. 

Karen was born on September 20, 1965, in Saginaw Michigan to Donald and Sharon (Wenzel) Pack. She graduated from Swan Valley High School in 1983. She married Jim Bedell on July 19, 1986, in Saginaw, Michigan. Jim got his dream job in Minnesota and together Karen and Jim moved to Minnesota. They had their son Zach. Karen worked at the S&W Bait and Tackle store with her friend Sherree for many years. Karen loved BINGO, bargains, and garage sailing, especially with her granddaughter. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Karen is survived by her husband Jim; son, Zach Bedell; granddaughter Kinsley Blocker; siblings, Mary Navarro, Rick Pack; life-long best friends Michele Morgenstern aka Shelly, and Sherree Wiktor. She is proceeded in death by her parents; and brother, Chris Pack.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
