June Strahl

June J. Strahl, 86, of Little Falls, MN formerly of Fort Ripley died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Highland Court in Little Falls, MN. A Celebration of June's life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 12:00-3:00PM at Highland Court in Little Falls, MN. Burial will be at Fort Ripley Cemetery.

June was born on June 14, 1929 in Scandia Valley Township-Morrison County to Frank and Cora (Casperson) Lattimer. She was united into marriage to Howard Strahl. June and Howard farmed most of their life near Fort Ripley and she also worked for Musingwear. They lived at Bridgeway Assisted Living in Little Falls, MN before moving to Highland Court in Little Falls, MN. June enjoyed gardening, oil and water painting, fishing, ceramics, sewing, and quilting. She also liked tending to the flowers, canning, and camping.

June is survived by her son, James (Birdie) Strahl of Fort Ripley, MN; sisters, Joyce Lundell of Montana and Juliann Doucette of Fort Ripley, MN; brother, Gale Lattimer of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Amber, Oliver, and Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Faith, Ella, Summer, Mason, and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; and brothers, Gabriel, Gordon, George, and Jerry. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
