June Lach

June Lach, 86, Backus, died Sunday 3/2/08 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Mpls. Services will be Thursday at 1 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes. Interment will following at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. The relatives will receive friends from 11 AM till the time of services at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes.
June Lach is survived by; 4 sons and 1 daughter; Royce Parker of Edina, Ron (Jeanette) Parker of Champlin, Robert (Pat) Parker of Tempe, Az, Joyce Parker of Torrence, California, Leon (Donna) Parker of Bowling Green, Kentucky, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter, 1 sister and 1 brother.

June Lach was born on April 5, 1921 in Minot, North Dakota daughter of the late; Benjamin and Lottie Taylor. She moved to Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Peter Lach. She raised her 5 children in Minneapolis. She worked for the US Postal Service in Mpls until her retirement. She moved to Backus then spent part of the year in Westpoint, Washington. She enjoyed drawing, painting, volunteering clown and Santa. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary.
